Zegerid OTC Approved for Frequent Heartburn

Merck & Co.’s Zegerid OTC (omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate) has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat frequent heartburn, the company said Wednesday in a news release.
